Case Study - GBP 50,000 recovered from Iranian Debtor

Initiation of Case

A UK sports marketing company located in City of London had a £50,000 debt against a debtor in Tehran, Iran. The debt related to advertising marketing at top football match games.

Debt Collection Processes

Upon receipt of the case we forwarded it to our local approved partner in Iran. They then immediately sent the initial dunning letter to the debtor stating the amount owed and a deadline to pay. A communications channel was opened and the debtor advised the partner that due to COVID and a change in company management there would be delays in responding, etc. Due to non-payment the client withdrew their services and did not complete the contract. As a result a settlement agreement was reach of £10,000 and this was made in full.

Summary

Our client was very pleased with the services and communications provided by our partner and ourselves.
